See celebrities without paying inflated concert prices at Legends in Concert, a star-studded 20-year Grand Strand tradition. Billed as the World’s Greatest Live Tribute Show, Legends features talented performers paying homage to the most beloved musical acts of yesterday and today.

At each live show, a rotating lineup of five acts ranging from the Blues Brothers to Diana Ross to — of course — Elvis entertain enthusiastic crowds, backed by a live band or orchestra and rousing dancers. Each performer bears a striking resemblance in both appearance and voice to the artist he or she portrays, and each performer sings with his or her natural voice. Countless hours of practice transform the performers from mere impersonators into the embodiment of well-known stars.

Legends shows are renowned for their detailed theatrical sets and elaborate costumes, as well as state-of-the-art lighting and sound systems. Born out of what was originally to be a six-week engagement in Las Vegas in 1983, Legends now features locations around the world, and productions of the show have toured Australia, Africa, Canada, China, and Europe. The show has recorded some historic milestones, becoming the first Las Vegas production to appear on Broadway in 1989 and the first to tour the Russian cities of Moscow, St. Petersburg, and Riga in 1991. Since its debut, Legends has earned numerous industry awards, including the International Press Association’s prestigious title of “Show of Shows.”

In June, Legends-goers can witness the four-day Myrtle Beach Elvis Festival, which will feature performances from internationally acclaimed Elvises and serve as a preliminary competition for the Ultimate Elvis Tribute Artist Contest.
