Before they were Grammy Award-winning Country Hall of Famers, Alabama used to play for tips at The Bowery on Ocean Boulevard. Years after their chart-topping success, the band sought to bring high-level live music and entertainment to audiences around the Grand Strand, and collaborated with the owners of the Grand Ole Opry to open this Barefoot Landing venue.

In addition to their multi-million dollar blockbuster “ONE: The Show,” Alabama Theatre brings in some of the biggest names in the music industry year-in and year-out. The list of artists who have recently graced the stage includes The Oak Ridge Boys, Englebert Humperdink, Crystal Gayle, Temptations and Four Tops, Three Dog Night, and countless others.

“ONE: The Show” is a powerful journey full of song, dance, and laughter, that will affect each member of the audience in a unique way. Married couple, Jason and Christine Cox, will perform one of America’s greatest tunes; The Lady is a Tramp. Celebrate the decades with an assortment of new songs like, Sheena Easton’s Morning Train, Lady Gaga’s Born this Way, and Taylor Swift’s Me. Another new production number uses the latest in video and lights to celebrate one of the most playful eras of American music: DISCO! Grant Turner once again proves he’s one of the best comics in the business. He returns as Ricky Mokel with new jokes and antics to entertain and delight all.

Alabama Theatre also features “The South’s Grandest Christmas Show” during November and December each year.
